Did you know that you can support NUV-HOP all year round when you shop online?  And that without costing you a single cent extra!

Now explained in steps:

  2. Search for the web shop you want to shop at.
  3. Leave your details in the pop-up if you want to know how much your purchase will generate NUV-HOP and then shop as usual. It costs you no more money.
  4. The shop supports us with a percentage of your purchase.  
    The affiliated web shops are not the least of these: Bol.com, Booking.com, JBC, Krëfel, Torfs, Brusselsairlines… and about 1,000 other shops!

Costs

The cost for the project in 2024 is estimated to 121 676 306 Ugandan shillings (approximately £23,538 or €26,768). This budget only includes effective working costs for the projects. The participating students are responsible for the payment of their flight, stay, food, immunizations and an administrative fee to join the project. This way more than 95% of the donations can be used directly in Uganda for the project, with less than 5% lost to administrative costs. These are figures international NGO’s can only dream of and we are proud for being able to present with our project NUV-HOP.

Financing

The participating students are responsible for the payment of their flight to and from Uganda. During the project they will stay with local host families and the payment, as well as administrative costs, are their responsibility too.
 
The project is financed by private contribution. Different fundraising actions will be undertaken in order to raise the required amount of money. Material support is delivered by Youth Alive, Reproductive Health Uganda & Gulu University.
